Lundgren Systems is a California General Engineering Class A contractor, specializing in drilling, earth retention, foundations and earth science projects.  Beginning in Sweden, Bob Lundgren moved his drilling business to California in the late ‘50s.   Mike Lundgren eventually took over with a background in product design and problemsolving in addition to extensive experience in drilling and general engineering construction.  

Activities include construction contracting, consulting, design problemsolving, design and fabrication of specialized drilling equipment and furnishing materials and tooling for seismic borehole construction.  Our unique competitive advantage is based in part on our ability to design and build equipment and hardware solutions for specific projects.

                  We have worked with many public and private entities including NASA, USGS, Purdue University, UCSD/Scripps Institute, University of Texas, UC Berkeley, IRIS, UNAVCO, US BLM, USMC, CALTRANS and others.
